As part of its Galactic Bulge Time-Domain Survey, Roman will repeatedly observe six fields toward the Milky Way's center, monitoring hundreds of millions of stars roughly once every 12 minutes across six observing seasons, with NASA expecting discovery of more than 1,000 planets.
