Poll shows 65% of conservatives support health equity as goal, framing matters

At a National Academies of Science roundtable on population health communication, Phillip Alberti of the Association of American Medical Colleges' Center for Health Justice presented polling showing that most American adults favor health equity efforts, with support varying based on question framing. When asked without definition whether they support health equity as a goal, 65% of self-identified conservatives said yes.
