Tip of the iceberg really. We don't know how many of these so called targets AI has identifed are actually legitimate, if they aren't being thorough in their targeting and relying on dodgy AI it falls under indescriminate attacks and therefore a war crime.

A big issue with these AI programs are the ability to cut military folk out of the loop. They have ethical training and are not involved with the planning process. A political leader can hand them an AI generated plan and say execute.

It reminds me of laughing at the stupid old Europeans starting a war because an Austrian numpty got himself shot in Serbia.
