As you say Trump and Hegseth are the primary culprits, but not sole figures who must be held accountable, preferably by the ICC, for initiating these deadly actions, additionally they willfully degraded the intelligence and planning functions that should have prevented this entire chain of events.

Obligatory, The US has been committing war crimes for a very long time and rarely if ever has anyone been held accountable. Until recently, US foreign policy was about stealing resources for corporate profits. But now Trump & Hegseth are doing it just because. Biden did it for ideological reasons.

Weren’t there reports to this effect at the time? It was denied (because, well *gestures broadly *) but I’m sure there were reports the school was where a military installation had been previously (outdated maps) and the army was using AI to pick their targets.
