Earl Charles Spencer, Princess Diana's brother, told the BBC in an interview published Sunday that the media's treatment of Prince Harry and Meghan is comparable to the scrutiny his sister endured, warning that lessons from Diana's experience need to be learned.
“If you look at an article in a tabloid about Diana or the couple that you were mentioning, Harry and Meghan, you know, they can be really, really unpleasant.”
