Japanese authorities downgrade alert levels as storm weakens and tracks away

As night falls and Typhoon Dujuan continues tracking northeast away from Japan, wind speeds drop and the government downgrades its alert levels. Rainfall is forecast to continue through Tuesday evening with another 100–200mm expected, particularly across eastern Honshu and the Izu islands. Rough seas persist but are expected to subside from 6–9m waves to 5–7m.

Everyone I know here is so sick sick of the annoying ass phone alert every time it rains a little heavy or the PA systems at the schools telling you "careful, it's hot as fuck outside today". No shit, it's hot as fuck every day. It's at the point where people are turning their phone…
