In an interview with CBS News, Pritzker publicly revealed for the first time that he has been on a GLP-1 regimen since 2024 and has lost 80 pounds. He described the medication as transformative and discussed the end of food cravings.
“I have an opportunity, just with the platform I have as governor, to tell people that this is something that can work for them. I think they should do it with a doctor's advice. But I can tell you, at least for me, it has been really life-changing.”
