The US alone has over 44,000 flights per day. Russia has 3560 on average. There is over 10X the air traffic in the USA alone. And idk what sources you are reading, but it's been well documented that capacity is WAY down in Russia and their entire system has constant problems. What's going on with Russian aviation?
