I don't think this will end well, but the business of show has always been about the money. With news mixed in it makes for murky waters. P+ will become like Disney+ with so much content. Somehow I hope that CNN stays independent, but it's doubtful. Wish they would selloff comedy Central and CNN.

This is catastrophic. Nothing good can come of this for Americans. The threats to democracy can’t be overstated. Suppression of information, fewer viewpoints, higher consumer costs, and disastrous effects on industry workers. Broadcast groups dictate standardized programming and stifle creativity.
