The Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology (IEE) released a study commissioned by the German Solar Industry Association (BSW) showing that intelligent battery storage at substations could enable existing power infrastructure to absorb 150 additional gigawatts of solar capacity without requiring major new grid expansion.
“In den bestehenden Netzen stecken erhebliche Reserven, wenn wir Speicher intelligent einsetzen.”
