When I was much younger and relished in an angsty rock song, I didn't mind Kid Rock's hits. If you woulda told me back then, that he'd be getting festivals cancelled in the future cause he sucks so hard, I probably would've believed you.

The same is true of the Kennedy Center. Once trump stacked the board and appointed himself as chairman, many acts cancelled and people refused to attend. Any financial crisis of the center is of trump's own doing.
