PMSG releases an open, standards-oriented Bluetooth Low Energy convention with markers for idle, recording, and live-microphone states plus a bystander do-not-record request, published before PMSG's own glasses reach commercial release. NearLens announces a partnership to implement detection of the signal in an upcoming iOS release, adding real-time recording-state awareness to its existing presence detection.
