Bears coach Ben Johnson said Monday that Williams underwent an MRI and the news was 'somewhat encouraging.' Johnson declined to rule Williams out but said he does not expect the quarterback to practice this week, keeping him week-to-week with the hamstring injury.
“He's right now working through every avenue that he's got available to get back on track here...This guy's a little bit different than the average human being...He gets back a lot faster than what people can anticipate.”
