Zelenskiy announces IMF support for Ukraine's 2027 financing

Following a meeting with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva at the UN General Assembly, President Zelenskiy announced that the IMF will help Ukraine secure part of the funding needed for financial and economic stability in 2027. Ukraine requires approximately $52.6 billion in international financial aid for next year.
