The Joint Council for Welfare of Immigrants called the action violent and dangerous, and Stand Up to Racism denounced Thomas's history and conduct on social media.

This didn't happen according to BBC News online. Thomas is simply described as a 'protester'. Seems like all the real journalists- the foreign correspondents - are being kept away from this and we're left with the interns.
