ShinyHunters claims to have hacked the FBI on Monday night using a zero-day flaw in Oracle PeopleSoft software to access Amazon AWS GovCloud servers. The group says it obtained data on all FBI employees, applicants, and job candidates, including names, home addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, and spouse information. A sample of 5,000 records was shared.
“We hacked the FBI. We hold data on all FBI employees and applicants.”
