Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the United States and China agreed to extend the Busan Agreement, their bilateral trade truce, from its scheduled November 10 expiration through January 10, 2027. The announcement followed an unscheduled meeting between Bessent and China's vice premier He Lifeng in Washington.
