According to YouGov's polling, Obama is still the most popular politician in the country and Sanders is the most popular in office. Mamdani is 8th among politicians. And AOC is just ahead of him if we limit to NYC politicians.

Nearly every single video his office puts out on Youtube has dozens of comments in the same format: "That's my mayor! And I live in [anywhere on the planet but NYC]." He's uh...pretty popular.
