Commenters raised concerns about insufficient munitions stockpiles, questioned the strategic necessity of Cuba action, and suggested the move was driven by political distraction rather than national security.
“We don't have the munitions stockpile needed for another war that's not a war. They aren't clever or strategic.”

The Cuban people have been suffering without sufficient energy supplies since the beginning of the embargo ( essentially a declaration of war) Yet, the world has largely looked away. This situation shouldn’t be a joke about distraction, it is a crime of humanity. Leave Cuba alone USA!

So the national interest of the United States is guided by which country we'll be invading at any given time. The no more wars guy is taking lessons from his pal in Russia...

Lil Marco must be starting to get all hot and bothered.

It's like he's trying to fuck up as many things as possible to leave the next admin with a mess, all while he and his family make money on wars & his economic policies.

We can’t afford the war Dump started months ago, and now he wants another? Or is this one Lil Marco’s?

Approximate population of Cuba is about 11 million people. IIRC the ratio for control of a country is 10 to 1. That is 10 citizens for every one military person. So it would be the entire military of the US to control this country. OTOH, it would remove all of the ones in the Middle East.

O
Supposedly the war is going to be over in 7 days. Go to YouTube and find the black man spy podcast from this morning.

We’re already blockading them. Sounds like we already did.

“National interests of the U.S.” I’m pretty sure that getting us into unnecessary wars is not in our national interest. I certainly don’t want my tax dollars propping up defense contractors, while people go hungry and without adequate healthcare.

THIS will rally the nation to support our decaying emperor! A hot war 90 miles from Miami!

Let's keep the troops busy...and away from the polling places during the mid-terms.

Sticks and stones will… No, really, that’s all we have left after Iran.
