US President Donald Trump rejects Iran's seven-point proposal. However, according to Iranian news agency ISNA, messages continue to be exchanged between the sides through mediators in efforts to resume negotiations, lift the US naval blockade, and reopen the strait.
“In any case, our conditions are clear. Any progress toward reopening the Strait of Hormuz depends on those conditions being met, and we will not back down from them.”
