🔴 BREAKING US Presses Europe to Release Diesel Reserves Amid Iran War The US urged European allies to immediately release strategic diesel reserves to curb prices driven by the war in Iran. This pressure follows President Trump's suggestion of banning US diesel exports, with EU states scheduled to discuss a coordinated response. 📰 https://www…

Because of the lie that a trade deficit = a country being ripped off. If a trade deficit is so unfair, then it begs the question, what the hell is fair about Australia's trade deficit? As for 'not that free of a ride'. I mean, you can't even find one thing other than the PBS. Which is covered by tariffs anyway, and relies on the flawed logic that…

As diesel prices breach £2.00 per litre & prices across the EU spike, the UK is hoping the EU will release strategic stockpiles of fuel into European & UK markets. It will be interesting what threshold for release is agreed & whether this would allow emergency imports of diesel to reach UK forecourts? And, of course. for Andy Burnham, he may hope…

What are those subsidies specifically? We're meeting our AUKUS obligations. We even allowed the US to change the submarines that we get. There's a 100% tariff on our pharmaceuticals, because apparently if US drug companies make more money, they'll pass the savings on to you. Like that's ever happened in the history of economics. So you've already…

The Trump administration has told Germany and France to draw down emergency diesel inventories to help ease soaring global fuel prices or face a potential US diesel export ban, according to three people close to the discussions. https://www. reuters.com/business/energy/us…

Better phrased: Americans will not put in additional effort for actions that might have repercussions. They can just leave their job and protest, actually. Could you get fired? Yes. Could you lose your home? Yes. Consequences are likely. But the alternative consequence you've already accepted was losing the country to authoritarians that are…

Using EU diesel/gasoil stocks only, the answer is roughly 10–11 days of U.S. diesel/distillate consumption. Eurostat’s latest stock table shows about 5.38 million tonnes of heating and other gasoil in EU stocks. That converts to roughly 40 million barrels of gasoil/diesel, depending on density. The U.S. is currently consuming about 3.95 million…

Most countries are moving away from (or are trying) to move from anything critical supplied by the US and us companies. Trump threatened to turn off access to visa and Mastercard to the EU. They are working on their own system. There's projects like EuroOffice, the joint venture between the EU and canada to cut out American military manufactures…

Well, at least for me as a european, there was one thing i was always sure: That you guys would honour Article 5. I don't believe that piece of paper anymore. Europe is alone now. The USA build the multipolar world that Putin & Xi always wanted. By ruining the greatest alliance network ever archived on earth, build in decades, in mere month.

As a US citizen living in another country, I try my hardest to buy only things from the country I have made my home, and if not, then from countries that are friendly to my home. The US can keep what they have, I'm only a citizen of the US because I was born there, something I had nothing to do with and would not choose for myself.

"With regard to trade in goods, the EU had a surplus of €198 billion, and with regard to trade in services, the EU had a deficit of over €178 billion." https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/infographics/eu-us-trade/?hl=de-DE#:~:text=22%25%20of%20the%20goods%20imported%20in%20the,services%20the%20EU%20imports%20from%20the%20US .

Wait, so Europe gets to keep its energy reserves in case it needs them later, but America can’t do an export ban during a diesel shortage to keep its energy in house? What a double standard. If this were water, why would I give you water during low rainfall when you have a dam full of water?

Remember the guy who secretly recorded his interactions with heritage foundation people? They said that project 2025 was just the part that the public saw. The private part was never posted online, it was only printed and handed out to people they trusted. So, it's worse than what we know.

He has no idea what he's doing, never has, still blunders along telling everybody how awesome he is, but to 99.9999% of this entire planet's population, this guy is a brain damaged clown... Didn't the US just declare insolvency?? Did nobody else notice that????!!
-
Because he was sent to destroy your country/destabilize North American and tanking trade relations/creating hostilities is a part of that. Also because they think us selling our goods is a rip off and they want to grab our pussy for free.
-
Trump doesn't care about control outside the US Borders. Otherwise he wouldn't have burned all the bridges he did with US partners. Also i guess you're overestimating the strategic reserves. Its really not that much fuel/oil.
-
Well... if you were a mattress factory and relied on a supplier for springs, and they said you need to dip into your stock reserves for a while or we are going to fine you, your going to find a new supplier wouldn't you?
-
Your link has nothing to do with what I said. Besides, If you think a superpower like the US would just allow a third country to build one of their most advanced weapon systems... I have a bridge or two to sell you.
-
You’ve had to live like that for a while, you were just distracted by bread and circuses. You needed to elect another President like Teddy Roosevelt who curtailed the power of the Oligarchs a long time ago
-
He strong-arms other parties because he sees everything as a win/lose transaction. The idea of negotiating a solution is a sign of weakness to him. Everyone is an opponent. They must lose.
-
Former(!) allies. Look at the polls of how the us is seen in europa nowadays. The same time trump is stupid enough to support parties who hate americans. He is incompetent at all levels.
-
Where in my comment am I talking about you specifically? By stating "Not enough of you" right at the start I am clearly using the Royal You there and referring to Americans in general...
