“Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS.”

"Ukrainian troops have been caught off guard by restrictions on Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite internet systems that disrupted frontline operations, while Kyiv received no warning from its partners of a Russian missile attack on its energy facilities for the second day running."

BREAKING: SpaceX has now imposed a speed limit on Starlink terminals in motion in Ukraine, disrupting combat drone missions, with the restriction applying to the StarShield military package and set at 100 miles per hour, per Ukrainian officials. "Our defence forces did not

Ukraine's access to Elon Musk’s Starlink has been restricted without warning, according to the presidential office, severely disrupting several military missions. https:// kyivindependent.com/this-canno t-be-a-coincidence-ukraines-starlink-access-restricted-without-warning-zelensky-adviser-says/

The timing is interesting, given that it comes days after Musk said Ukraine had gone "too far" striking Yandex data centers. Putting other considerations aside, these strikes could be interpreted as direct retaliation against strikes on Ukrainian data centers days before. That said, depending on a single piece of tech is not a good idea (as…

ok so the issue is Starshield terminals. The starlink ones are locked to territory both inside Ukraine and that Ukraine controls. The were already subject to the 100mph limit. The Starshield terminals are now being limited to same movement limits but work outside Ukraine and are allowed to be used for weapons and military purposes. Basically…

Trump and Musk are doing their best to help Putin kill Ukrainians.

US decisions to throttle Starlink only harms Ukrainian forces on the defense in Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have never been able to use Starlink for strikes in Russia. This decision will significantly degrade Ukraine's mid-range strike capability - a key driver of Ukraine's recent

If true, sabotage by the US. "Ukraine's Starlink access has been restricted without warning, severely disrupting "several" military missions, presidential adviser Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov , "I confirm that SpaceX implemented speed restrictions on Starlink terminals while in motion last night. Currently, the restriction applies to the StarShield…

Give France $30 billion and launch a few orbits full of LEO.We don't need to cover the globe like SpaceX, just Ukraine and from there North-Westward into Russia.Imagine Britain in the fucking Blitz where Roosevelt starts to buy oil from Nazi Germany and JP Morgan cuts off the Telegraph somehow.Crazy times.

I’m not responsible for this even though all of you keep telling me I am. Every comment in here is “all Americans” and it’s fucking bullshit. I vote every time. I protest. I have never voted for any of the parties responsible for this. We want change just as bad as the rest of you

Russian missiles targeted Kyiv's power plants with no partner warning, again, three days into a US-announced energy ceasefire Russia fired 39 ballistic missiles and 128 drones. At least 600,000 lost power, and four died in Kyiv. 🔗

Last night, Ukraine 🇺🇦 suffered from a large restriction access to Starlink, which speed was limited to 160km/h and later to 70km/h This action taken by Elon Musk or the Pentagon 🇺🇸 puts an end to mid-range strikes against Russian 🇷🇺 logistics in occupied territories and to the

Here’s what The Counteroffensive is reading today: # SpaceX limits # Starlink speeds for Ukraine’s military. Presidential adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov said the military wasn’t notified, disrupting long-range missions, # frontline logistics, and interception of jet-powered # drones . https://www. reuters.com/world/europe/space…

It’s so obvious that Putin has something on Trump. It’s either the unsubstantiated pee tape, or they have the video tapes Epstein said he had. And since Musk also (at least) wanted to party on one of the islands wildest nights, there might be even more leverage Putin is using strategically.

So... one day Ukraine destroys a data centre in Russia with drones, bot activity on social media plummets, Elon getting much less likes than usual and in the next days he limits Starlinks capabilities and renders it basically useless for drones?! Did I miss something?

The alleged restrictions come amid President Trump’s declaration of an “energy ceasefire” in the war, even though Ukraine has accused Russia of not adhering to it.

I don't understand how it's "too far" in any way, provided that Russia has since the start of the war struck against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, including datacenters. The only way I can read this is as an example of heavily pro-Russian bias.
-
Thats not how it works. It's called compromise, a word that seems lost today. One side not agreeing to another demands 100% is not negotiation. Either way, you appear to prefer slaughter of Ukrainian and Russian drafted soldiers than compromise.

Ditch Starlink, Ukraine. Musk and chump are not your friends.

Ukraine Experience With Starlink Highlights the Need for Space Sovereignty Ukrainian officials reported on October 14, 2026, that restrictions affecting military-grade Starlink terminals had disrupted missions. The temporal correlation with datacenter hits argued to take out Russian bot farms is striking...Normally I'd say "assume ignorance before incompetence before malice" but with the current US political climate it's usually all 3 at the same time.

Serhii Beskretnov, adviser from Zelenski, explicitly stated that the speed limit was applied to StarShield terminals. They don't use civilian Starlink, lol why would they. Media is using Starlink for us normal people for easier recognition.

Telestat has 200 satellites (planned) Starlink has 8,000 to 10,000 deployed, active.. Today Starlink has a monopoly on low flying satellites. Love TSAT great potential, but its ramp up needs to escalate, fast!
