Researchers at the University of Haifa recruited 50 people who reported near-death experiences and asked them to reconstruct their memories using guided online sessions with geometric pictograms. They identified four main spatial categories—conical spaces (tunnels), broad curved spaces (archways), gently curved spaces, and sphere-like enclosed spaces—and discovered that color perception correlated with geometry: tunnels were predominantly colorless while archways were predominantly colored.
“The geometry of those spaces appeared to be linked to the colors people recalled seeing.”

Suddenly curious if any of you who experienced nothing, do you remember your dreams normally? He described the feelings of bliss and said he was in a subway tunnel headed for the light. And he was excited to go there. It scared the hell out of me. He lived another year or so before he passed, and didn’t remember the “dream”…

I thing it goes beyond dreams. The big dream. Maybe we die and experience years of fading awareness in the minute after death then cease to exist. I'm not sure, but I know it was certainly remarkable.

Once proven does religion then not exist? It's a dangerous path to use religion as the god of gaps.

Sure. People still believe in a flat Earth, even though it's been proven wrong several times over.
