You can quibble on the words, I would say India has supported Russia as well for similar reasons. Really an amazing discussion on r/Europe , I would not have expected such full throated support for China and Russia but here we are. Sorry for all those dead I suppose.

I don't agree with you. Those territories have already been settled through the border treaties between Russia and China. There is no "question" as to who that territory belongs to. The treaties are final and binding.

Historically Russia helped themselves to lots of China while China was weak. Now Russia is the junior partner and will need more and more help from China to continue the war. Which won't come cheap.
