Hmmm, a 2012 article regarding "Injectable Gel Could Repair Tissue Damaged by Heart Attack" developed at UC San Diego. This injectable gel was developed almost 15 years ago! today.

Most of these breakthroughs appear in the news when they're literally at the very first stages of working in labs or animal research. She did this with a cow heart, it's a long ways out from being tested in humans and even longer from being approved for general use

That's very Cool... But like... Only for rich people and politicians then?... Every time I hear about these medical breakthroughs, I don't hear anything change in the health care system in general.
