I'm not averse to privatization in some circumstances. If the private alternative exists and had significant enough competition the government doesn't need to be involved. When something is a monopoly, either by nature or necessity, the government should probably just make it a Crown corp. I really don't see the benefit of making our ports and…

We really have no idea what Carney was telling Trudeau, it’s quite possible Trudeau did something different than he advised; he will have had dozens of advisors around him. We can already see that Carney has a different vision for Canada, for example, he is less stringent on environmental protections than Trudeau
