Sorry to hear they bawked at it. (I'll see myself out)

Have you tried ground turkey? Highly recommend. Same with chili. If you do chili extra beans cuts down the price. I use ground turkey, 3 different types of beans. You can also make tacos, add rice. Cuts down the price.

Considering how processed chicken meat is about an even split between male and female sexes, half of what you're eating are sloppy cocks.

Instead of chicken, I use the cheaper high fat beef and GREEN or BLACK lentils. Add the cooked lentils, along with a squirt of liquid beef bouillon towards the end browning. They'll absorb the fat and juices and get 😋. We call it bleef. Don't use red or brown lentils. They disintegrate. It's 🤢

As a professional chef of 42+ years, who spent 3 of those working for hippies, in a primarily vegetarian restaurant; A really good substitute for ground beef, which doesn't change the flavor significantly, and also maintains the texture. You can sub in bulghur. Cooks quickly, and absorbs flavor.

Forget the price... it's the "I'm not going to say where the hamburger comes from" that's the real issue. Okay, price too but you get me drift.

I can't eat red meat so learned to sub ground turkey into dishes that call for ground beef. Pro tip: add a bit of worcestershire sauce.

Ya may just want to get some beef bullion.. it’s affordable and don’t call this dish by those names. Hahaha!

I mean when you think about it "Sloppy Joe" ain't exactly literature.

Just make with rooster instead. Then you can call it a sloppy cock.

Chicken plops… with a white sauce instead of red sauce

meat processors like JBS supply multiple sectors—including retail, institutional clients, food service— industry experts note that major fast-food brands with proprietary, tightly controlled supply chains have not integrated this specific imported-trimmings quota batch into their restaurant burgers💩

Faux beef crumbles, with taco seasonong are indistinguishable by most eaters from the real thing. My sister thinks vegetarian burgers, crumbles are revolting. She doesn’t cook and weve been feeding them to her for years….with no complaints.

I just tell the fam it’s “chef Ramsey” (or whoever’s ) recipe. Then they assume it’s good 🤣 this also works if I mess a “recipe” up and it’s crappy 😆😜

When you do the cooking, the only thing you should hear in the kitchen is… “Yes, Chef” Now enjoy some sloppy chicks!
-
In addition it increases your B vitamins, soluble fiber, while reducing your fat intake. Cheaper by far too!
-
You should've tried "Chicky-chicky slop-slop". They might've hated that too, but it's fun to say.
