Imperial College study reveals chronic stress drives silent heart inflammation in 480,000-person analysis

Researchers analyzed blood work and heart imaging data from 480,000 UK adults and found that people with the highest inflammation levels had a 43 percent higher risk of heart attack and stroke compared to those with the lowest levels. The study, published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, shows these structural heart changes develop silently, years before any symptoms appear.
