I'm convinced the new rule is "if a show doesn't become big enough that it's being talked about everywhere, has memes made about it, people clipping moments from the show to make gifs for talking to thier friends, etc" it gets cancelled now. This show was on Amazon's top 10 for weeks. But it didn't enter the zeitgeist like that so it gets scrapped.

I don't know how I would watch it when I've never heard about it until now. Prime is awful at marketing new shows. I would've given it a shot just to see Hannah Waddingham in something new besides Ted Lasso. Probably not going to now that I know it's not getting another season 🤷♂️
