The Associated Press reported that a police officer and a man were wounded in an exchange of gunfire near the synagogue, with the man in critical condition; authorities have not disclosed a motive or whether the synagogue or Jewish community was targeted.

And Doug Ford appears many times on US media talking trade, but gives the cold shoulder to Canadian media. Even going so far as paying taxpayer dollars to run a disastrous ad campaign on US media that scuttled trade talks.
