Meunier stated that Nissan is aiming to build 80% of its U.S. retail volume domestically by 2030 and has ruled out constructing additional factories for now, arguing the company is well-equipped to succeed with existing capacity. He identified Toyota's RAV4 as the direct competitive target for the new Rogue e-Power.
“I think we're very well equipped to succeed without major investment and a new factory and everything else. Maybe after 2030.”
