I can relate. Took grandkids and what it cost me I could have gone to the cafe and brought home half of it for later. McD’s is a rip off currently. Doubtful prices will ever drop after this fiasco.

I remember when MickeyD's went big on promising "All American Beef". Only for reporters to discover much was from Argentina, in South America. So technically/legally accurate.

Not verified but word on the street is macdonalds and burger king are buying that beef that costco is rejecting as well as the EU.

Fast food only has the ability to include a drink and lack a tip.I’m not promoting any biz but we had an excellent sirloin, & 2 sides at Applebees and it was like 2 for $30. 2 fast food combos are near $30. So for $10-12 more (& I know that’s not nothing,but) you can dine instead of rush & enjoy.

The ShopRite store near me makes great take-out food and for less than $10 you can get a healthy protein and two sides choice. One meal lasts me for two dinners. So much better and less $$ than a drive-through fast food meal

Few years ago I decided to try a McD's to see if they'd improved. Even their top priced burger was as tasteless as when the gherkins were the only thing that gave Big Macs any flavour. Haven't been back.
