I've been blocked and berated so many times for pointing this out. Having your clear hypocrisy pointed out makes people really defensive (and angry). They know it's bad, they just don't want to accept it, because AI is easy and it gets clicks. So many big names here only seem to care about clicks.

Yep, it's a bit stupid, isn't it. I have decided that I don't give likes for AI pictures and clips any more. If everyone did this, AI wouldn't get a foothold on here.

I think quite a few of them aren't on 'our side' but instead are bots and trolls pretending to be. They're trying to sow confusion. It works.

I don't. I do not support or use AI in any capacity. I have opted out of as much of it as I possibly can on everything. I call out people who post anything AI, especially those using AI to discredit AI.

It’s a fair question! While data centers do strain energy grids and water supplies, the tech is already here to make them much cleaner—like closed-loop liquid cooling and direct clean energy. Wanting to enjoy these tools while hoping for greener infrastructure can go hand in hand.

Not me. I don’t even use Google anymore because I can’t turn it off. DuckDuckGo lets you turn it off.

It is absolutely being crammed down my throat at work. I hate it. There have been so many meetings and trainings on how to use it. Emails about expectations. Meetings with me specifically about how to implement it. I hate using it at all because I’m opposed to it for several reasons
