AI is unable to differentiate between fact from fiction. There have been documented cases of “companions” pulling information from unreliable sources (such as Reddit) and relaying it as fact. It should not be choosing targets.

An AI-enabled targeting system was incorporated into a process using stale intelligence, & lazy "humans apparently trusted the system" to catch problems it wasn't designed or contractually responsible to catch. That is a hell of a failure mode for AI being pushed deeper into warfare.🤬🇨🇦
