  The government can amend or even repeal the legislation this is happening under and the lawsuit would disappear. If they actually lose, this outcome is far more likely than the Carney government actually reviving the Trudeau-era policies it has scrapped. So environmentalists might want to pump the brakes a little on celebrating this result.

  There is a way. Unfortunately, it looks like we're not going to do it, and all of us, including those claiming bread is only cheap because of pipelines, are going to suffer severe and well-deserved consequences. Reality doesn't care about feelings. Perhaps that's something we should teach in school.
