A commenter suggested that many of those boycotting Tillamook likely were not previous customers, implying the boycott reflects ideological opposition rather than consumer behavior change.
“I'm quite certain most of the people boycotting it have never purchased it in their lives.”

Because they are bigoted racists, and they have convinced themselves it is some kind of Muslim conspiracy to take over 'Murica.

I mean, I live in Oregon and I pass by Tillamook products--not because of halal certification (that's just stupid) but because the company greenwashes the gigantic dairy plants they run out in Eastern Oregon that are def not organic nor environmentally friendly. Horseshoe theory lol.

I know right. I don't buy it for religious reasons, but I usually get larger packs, cheaper / kg when I buy halal. No brainer.

Who wouldn’t want everyone to be able to enjoy cheese?
-
Serious question- why would someone want to boycott halal?
-
Shhh let them think what they want, I love tillamook cheese and yogurts

All anyone needs to do is research the word. It doesn't mean Islamic cheese ffs. People can be obtuse. Wish we had apps to help them with word definitions.

The tour at their facility is great! Love Tillamook!

I have a pretty large Muslim contingent and many of my local stores have Halal sections...like they have a Kosher section. I enjoy them both. The best was introducing a lady & her 5-year-old to "Free Candy Day" (AKA: Halloween) last year...

Hala just means it’s held to a higher standards and the way the food industry is at the moment. I don’t mind our food going through better checks
