Everyday folks like watching football games. Sooo. Dragon-pile rich buy the game, jack up prices to see them, then pillage everyday folks with rigged gambling ads and pro shills. Now I don't watch football anymo'. Anyone besides me see a pattern? Greedy rich always ruin it for the rest of us.

NOT watching TV sports has freed up my day to enjoy real activities, like enjoying nature, cooking or simply reading a good book. Every form of media has been invaded by advertisers.

league and owners have a monopoly and it’s getting more about commercial interests than athletic competition. Too many teams, too many games, seasons too long, not enough talent. This is like paying for an expensive watered down drink at a fancy bar and feeling underwhelmed and cheated when you go.

Betting apps are making bank on the desperation of the lower middle class. "Bet $5 and get $200 in additional bets". The get you hooked with "just a taste" and the dopamine does the rest. Just like heroin or cocaine. Soon they can't live without the rush of the "action". Fuck these ghouls.

Agreed. The bigger issue is preying on (primarily) young men and actively fleecing them out of grocery, rent, family-needs money. And like the tobacco industry, the gambling industry knows how to keep these folks addicted and entice in new customers by using words like “trade”. Totally fucked

I’m so torn about my beloved X Games (for the skateboarding) falling to the gambling ad affliction. There’s so little money in the sport, I’m genuinely happy that these skilful people get some financial breathing space. But also, bleh.

Im out. We have #nfl season tickets, they've been in our family since 1984. This will be the last year. This is the last year i pay to watch the #nba. "Pro" sports is dead.

Money corrupts. Too many folks look at ANY situation and ask "how can I make money off of this?". Too many activities have been corrupted over the years. Eat the rich.
