Baselayer announced a $35 million Series A led by M13, with participation from Picus Capital, Torch Capital, Afore Capital and Matt Thompson of Socure. The round brings total funding to approximately $40 million since inception. The company is using the capital to launch its Agentic Identity Suite and develop "Know Your Agent" (KYA) technology to verify whether AI agents are authorized to act on behalf of businesses.
