Remember when they interviewed the DOGE people and they couldn't define it? I think it's fair that if they don't know how to define it the answer to that question is no.

Simply interpret your work as not falling foul of any of those things. Hopefully, the people asking the question will be in jail before you‘re ever asked to justify your interpretation.

TIL your university believes POTUS executive orders can apply to their faculty's work. Is your institution part of the executive branch?

I'll take a slightly-less-sinister possible explanation: The university's lawyers are afraid of liability around losing funding. It's insane that they're asking this, but this could be seen as a rational response to (admittedly insane) incentives

Living under conservative minority rule always equals dystopia: cruelty, sadism, white & male supremacy, zero empathy or care for others. Why do we always act so surprised when EVERY time conservatives take absolute power rights are stripped away & oppression runs rampant until we're slaves/serfs?
