Neil Fraser at the Scottish Association for Marine Science, commenting on the peer-review study, states that the heat flux approach provides stronger evidence than previous methods because it measures a variable closer to what drives AMOC circulation. The new satellite-based methodology represents the first time AMOC weakening has been estimated using heat fluxes calculated partly from satellite measurements.
“This is some of the strongest evidence so far that the AMOC has weakened over the last 40 years.”

Personalized advice would be pretty difficult to give. We don't yet know what the likelihood of a collapse versus a reduction in the AMOC is. Globally, consistently pushing politicians for action on climate mitigation (reducing emissions) and adaptation (preparing for the regional impacts of climate change) are both important and impactful.

I don't watch shows like the walking dead and thing gee, that's the life for me. I'm that scene where the protagonist hit up a house for a tin of dog food and find a zombie couple chained to their bed who offed themselves together.

Someone (likely a bot) argued if we built more data centers we could cure cancer, i replied so if we can build enough datacenters we'll find a cure for the lung cancer we'll all develop

I think the whole being an island thing is a factor. Also the monsoon like weather it's already starting to get. Farming is pretty f*cked already too.

Temporarily collapse as they adapt to new climate zones. Good reason to get in good with Canada.
