Binance's published postmortem said the breach began in June when an engineer searched for an AI coding tool and installed a tampered Homebrew installer; attackers later used an internal AI tool and a leaked container-deployment token to escalate access across multiple Wallet DevOps engineers, and a separate engineer was lured via fake job interviews through a legitimate job-hunting platform before the final theft.
“An engineer was contacted through a legitimate job-hunting platform and invited to bogus job interviews with fake company representatives, Binance says.”

The article in Fortune [1] says "According to a Binance spokesperson, employees with non-public-facing roles are not allowed to maintain LinkedIn profiles."How common is that? I understand many companies asking employers to not list where they work (for security reasons). But, not allowed to have a LinkedIn profile, period.[1]

They have already suceeded in turning politivs into a team sport and found the dumbest 1/3 of people who refuse to vote in their best interest. And then there's the other layer where they manage to convince everyone that millennials are to blame for everything somehow, and gen z and alpha are too lazy and stupid to do anything.
