Did we overbuild in the dot com bubble? Yes. Would you say because we overbuilt, so internet has no value and doesn't create jobs? Probably not, because e-commerce, streaming, YouTube and all these businesses emerged from the infrastructure buildout. Worrying that they won't make money at some point is basically saying you think you are smarter…

Oh that's what you're talking about, but no one wants to get the fiscal house in order. Debt just keeps going up because no one wants to have a recession in their term by killing spending. As for trickle down economy, have you asked the people whose livelihoods are improved because of data centers? Look at all the restaurants and other businesses…

Ohio has 21 local data center votes, 16 would ban or cap. Ohio is home to what will be the world's biggest data center (if it is ever completed): SB Energy's 8GW project

Sometimes I wonder how to tell someone that they are probably completely under informed for the assertions that they make to be anywhere near justified. Many times though, the assertions are made so confidently that I have to consider not only how little informed that someone is but also how they might have disdain for the process (arduous as it…

The outcome itself was mostly priced, prediction markets had it as the base case for weeks so the big repositioning happened before the vote. what isn't priced yet is the details: which bills actually move, what happens to tariffs, how the fed reads it. that plays out over months, not one day gridlock being good for stocks is a real pattern…

Record national deficits is not great. And if you can show that republican tax cuts for the wealthy are creating jobs and increasing wages for the middle class then sure that would be great. I just don’t think the math is there. 50yr of trickle down economics has proven that money isn’t trickling down.

In October it became the base case. Look at Polymarket or Kalshi odds. Also, Trump is DONE with now. He’s wrecked the GOP and them losing Texas proves it. Republicans turn on Trump now. Bullish for stocks in my opinion because the war and tariffs is what capped gains on this current boom cycle

The market is highly irrational, of course its not priced in. And to get both the house and senate was 1% odds. So no, most people did not think they would get both. Functionally it is different with a large win psychology as anxiety decreases and comrodery increases.

Dems will flow billions into social welfare and foreign aid. Rep will flow billions into corporations. Both will fleece the tax payer to Israel. It's never been more obvious they are two wings of the same bird. It's not R vs D or Red vs blue, it's them vs us.
-
Functionally the effect is the same. Technically, it appears the Democrats performed slightly better than the base case but practically they can’t achieve anything more as a result. Gridlock in DC is still the result. So for stocks the result is the same.

The more this country has handed out taxes to the wealthy the more we lost manufacturing jobs and the more the middle class has suffered. I don’t believe cutting taxes for billionaires is going to make them invest in more job producing industry.

He almost did when Russia decided to test their ICBM oreshnik without any warhead in Ukraine. If Democrat win the presidential election next round I hope it would be wisest president USA ever had and please no Woke shit propaganda at schools
-
At some point people have to realize voting Republican gets you a pointless war in the Middle East and tax cuts for billionaires. Bush, bush, Trump… it’s all they know how to do. Turns out neither of those things are good for America.
-
don’t know why you got downvoted. Probably because they do not agree with your opinion. But I believe in this irrational market, fundamentals are out of the window and your opinions is honestly not far off from the truth

Biden? Nobody is talking about that old man. See this is the problem in America. All of our leaders suck. It just so happens Trump has been the worst. I was no fan of Biden but at least he didn’t set the world on fire
