Twice, so far, for me. I really don't think it's the last. When I was a little girl, I must have heard talk about breast cancer. I never told anyone, but I was plagued by fear of it for years. I just knew it would happen. I was diagnosed with metatastic breast cancer in 2016 at 63.

This made me both laugh and cry. I spent 16 months caring for my late wife through stage 4 small cell lung cancer. We had enough time to accomplish some of her last wishes…a concert by her favorite singer and an Alaskan cruise. We would occasionally turn to each other and say "Thank you, cancer!"
