I volunteer for a Cat Rescue. We require that kittens are adopted in pairs. It helps their socialization and development, reduces fear and provides a constant playmate. When they get the Zoomies at 3 AM, they won’t be running across your face.

My peanut and Milo, also siblings, when they were kittens, we used to find them snuggling all the time. Peanut (black cat) passed a few years ago, Milo (orange) is 16 and just the sweetest boy.

My pair of siblings were inseparable. And then, last year in June, we lost Samantha out of the blue. Woke up one morning and found her. Socks has become much more lovable. He used to be so quiet and reserved. ( Sam was the darker orange. )
