This was a bounce back moment as the last pslv launch was a somewhat failure as the first two stages performed normally, but an anomaly and roll-rate disturbance occurred near the end of the third stage (PS3) burnout, causing the rocket to deviate from its flight path before orbit insertion

GSLV Mk2 doesn't have a lot of failures, or that many launches.. .10/12 successful, and failures were earlier on.. The 2 failures you may be remembering from the last 1 year are PSLV
