   Findings published; T. rex walked at brisk human pace

   The research team's findings were published in a scientific journal. Using high-resolution 3D surface scanning, they determined each footprint was about 3 feet long with a 13-foot stride, indicating the animal walked at approximately 3.5–4.5 mph.

   “With a trackway, we can actually follow an animal as it moved across the landscape. That is incredibly rare for T rex.”
