    Space.com publishes astrophotographer Osama Fathi's composite image combining star trails and Perseid meteors captured over Egypt's Western Desert. The image was created by stacking separate landscape and starscape captures into a single composite that also shows satellite trajectories and highlights Earth's rotation during the natural light show of the Perseid meteor shower.
