Isn't it the province that set the number of spots in medical school? Why can't they build process to ramp up number of medical school graduates? I know there's residency spot choke point, but province is literally in control of every single hospitals too. So there should be a way for them to relieve the choke point and graduate more doctors…

It's another issue that our constitution shoots us in the foot. As provincial jurisdiction, work regulations and healthcare are a mishmash across the country.
