Been to Newfoundland, beautiful. The puffins and whales in St. John’s bay were a sight I won’t forget.

My regret is that I haven’t been there yet. My ancestors lived there. Came in from Normandy France. And wow it’s so stunning.

Oh, how I love St. John's. So much! I once drove there. From HOUSTON! Epic! Made it all the way to L’Anse aux Meadows. I love you Canada! I love you NF! I am sorry for what us government is doing to you and to us. It is not what we want and not what we voted for.

It's not beautiful like that, but I'm taking time to watch a hummingbird enjoy the rain and laugh at my husband sounding like Christopher Walkin in the background. We all need our moments of reflection and peace. Looks like you have a beaut there!!

Beautiful scenery.... This past year I discovered Agnes Walsh's poetry, and since have been fascinated by the pre-famine Irish immigrant culture that has maintained customs that otherwise would have been lost. Yes... Agnes Walsh and singer/songwriter Ron Hynes... both national treasures.
