    Chunk 32, defending champion, spotted on live cameras ahead of competition

    The 1,200-pound male bear, who won last year despite a broken jaw and damaged teeth, returned to Brooks Falls. Park ranger Sarah Bruce highlighted his resilience given his injuries.
